We searched the world for the best Hook-out tool to compliment our range of accessories and discovered a successful Japanese design that we modified to suit our NZ conditions.
The RUSLER Hook-out tool works as a push/pull action against the base of the hook with tapered entry point. By twisting the hook-out tool when in position it locks firmly onto the shank of the hook. Removal of the hook is achieved by either twisting in the lock position or flicking the fish off with a rotation of the wrist.

The RUSLER Hook-out tool is especially successful when using large game hooks and becomes an invaluable working tool to the experienced operator.
